2023-2024 Winter Training

This year our winter training will have three registration options.

  • Athletes can register for three days of indoor rowing, yoga, and circuit training at Summerfield Farms

  • They can sign up for one day of weightlifting at the Iron Barbell Collective

  • Or they can register for one day of power yoga at Radiance Yoga.

Winter training will begin November 27 and end February 23. We will not practice between December 23 and December 31.

Rowing at Summerfield Farms

Practice three times a week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, from 5:00 - 6:45pm at Summerfield Farms.

  • Monday - erging and circuits

  • Tuesday - erging and yoga (please bring a mat)

  • Wednesday - erging

Weightlifting at Iron Barbell Collective

Participate in a weightlifting program designed for rowers on Thursday from 5-6pm.

  • Practices will be led by Dylan Confar, a USA Weightlifting coach at the Iron Barbell Collective (it’s next to the science center).

  • limited to 12 particpants

  • you must be registered for rowing at Summerfield farms in order to participate, this is intended for rowers wanting a higher commitment level through the winter

  • for 9th graders and above

Heated Power Yoga at Radiance Yoga

Sessions will be Friday afternoon 5:30 - 6:30pm at Radiance Yoga.

  • Develop power, balance, and body awareness this winter in a fun and heated environment

  • any and everyone is welcome

  • people usually go home soaked in sweat, bring a towel

  • Please Drive Slow at Summerfield Farms - speed limit 8mph

    • Once you enter, see if you can get to the barn without ever touching the gas pedal :)

    • Please keep all 4 tires on the gravel and help the grass stay alive

  • Supportive running shoes for every day

  • Hydration

  • Lots of layers
