Competitive Team Fall 2025

We have an amazing group of rowers and families. Our team is coed and comprised of High Schoolers. Practices are at Lake Higgins Tuesday - Friday (Lake Higgins is closed Monday). The team travels to regattas throughout the southeast.

Rowers are expected to attend practices and regattas, if you’re unable to commit to the schedule, please discuss your situation with a coach and consider joining the Jr. Comp team for a season where practice and regatta attendance is more flexible.

Regatta Details

There are additional regatta expenses in addition to registration for the season. Scrimmages we travel to are usually around $20 per person, regattas with official registrations through RegattaCentral tend to be $75-100 per rower, and USRowing championship regattas (regionals or nationals) have been in the range of $100-180 per rower. This additional cost covers the entry fees for each race and the fuel to trailer the boats back and forth. The links provided will show how the cost to enter a boat ranges between events. The two links above show how a double goes from $45 to $140 per entry.
