SCOTT JONES

Scott He received a B.A. in business with an entrepreneurial emphasis.  He left this field to pursue medicine for a period of time while exploring where his passion's lie.  He is extremely dedicated with a creative mind that loves detail, and leaves no stone unturned. He believes rowing is a sport that teaches people to believe in themselves. Scott spent a year in Boston, immersed in a yearlong fellowship program offered through Community Rowing Inc. (CRI).  He loves to learn from the best and is always seeking advice from people and organizations that are setting the standard of excellence for others.

BURT WHICKER

Assistant Coach

Burt is an inspiration to us all. He is the Head Coach for High Point University’s rowing team, and we are lucky to have him coaching with us. Burt has many stories and life adventures that he brings with him.  He can fix nearly any issue with a boat and approaches coaching from a very scientific perspective. Burt brings out the best in athletes and challenges them to go beyond self perceived limits. We all want to be like Burt when we grow up.

RICH COLE

Assistant Coach

Rich learned how to row earlier in life while living in England.  He is currently the head coach for Wake Forest University's rowing team, and began coaching with us in the spring of 2019.  Rich also rows and competes with our masters team.
